USCIS offers webinar on mock interviews

Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022 | 1 – 2 p.m. Eastern

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites museum and library employees to participate in our naturalization mock interview webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern. [Note from your editor: even if you are not a museum or library employee, this looks like it could be useful for any citizenship instructor, so don't let that hold you back from registering for the webinar.]

USCIS and library representatives will share best practices for how local libraries and museums can integrate mock naturalization interviews into their citizenship and immigration outreach programming. Mock interviews are practice interviews designed to help immigrants, who are eligible to naturalize, prepare and gain an in-depth understanding of the naturalization interview process. We will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

We are presenting this webinar as part of the federal partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services to provide citizenship and immigration information to library and museum professionals.
