Help us keep track of new developments you're seeing

The Naturalization Working Group is working to keep track of recent challenges that applicants are facing at interviews and with oath ceremonies around the country, as well as public engagement with USCIS. The goal is to advocate for improvements in the naturalization process. To this end, the group has created a survey that covers:

  • Interview Issues (e.g., unusual questioning, delays, unexpected documentation requests)
  • Oath Ceremony Cancellations (e.g., scheduling delays, last-minute changes, lack of clear communication)
  • Stakeholder Engagement Concerns (e.g., changes in USCIS communication, availability of training materials, and stakeholder meetings)

Feedback from citizenship educators will be invaluable in ensuring that we capture a comprehensive range of experiences. Your knowledge of these developments will help ensure we are gathering the most useful information for advocacy efforts.
