USCIS Citizenship Grant Program now taking proposals

deadline May 22nd

USCIS has just announced this year's Citizenship & Integration Grant Program.
The program funds organizations that offer both citizenship instruction and
naturalization application services.
The citizenship instruction must test English proficiency and offer minimal hours
and weeks of classes.

The naturalization application services must include
eligibility screening, application assistance, and ongoing case management.

In addition, an organization must have at least one year experience within
the past five years, offering instruction and legal services. The funding
is for two years, with a maximum grant award of $125,000 per year. Programs
that were awarded funding last year are not eligible to apply this year.
The online application is due May 22, 2013.
